Mr. Alan Oyler graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelors Degree in Environmental Engineering in 1981.  Mr. Oyler joined the City of Orlando in 1982 and currently serves as the Public Works Director.
 
Mr. Oyler has been very involved with both public and professional education programs in the wastewater field.  He has taught in state schools for voluntary licensing of water and wastewater field technicians since 1984.  Mr. Oyler has been guest speaker to discuss environmental issues and was involved with making a TV program on wastewater treatment and wetlands systems for Project Eden on Shamu TV. 

Mr. Oyler is married and he and his wife Beverly have three children, Candice, age 26, Alex, age 22, and Adrienne, age 20.
