Floridians are
currently grappling with a number of social, economic and environmental
challenges. Issue such as
skyrocketing gas prices, more frequent and severe weather-related
disasters, and the environmental and social implications of global climate
change, have drawn attention to the need for sustainable long term
solutions to our ever-growing thirst for energy. The Florida Renewable Energy Expo focuses on addressing these
issues with approaches that will meet our state’s need to reduce its
carbon footprint, create local economic security and lessen our demand on
foreign fuel imports. The Expo will
take place at two adjacent venues.
The Embassy
Suites will host speaker presentations throughout the day on Friday and
Saturday, while The goal of this
event is to provide attendees with valuable information that will allow
them to take action. The expo
portion of the event and film presentation in the park will be free and
open to the public, while the Friday presentation session, which includes
refreshments, lunch and a networking reception, will be provided at a
